‘Saarathi’ – a Caregiver’s Support group
in collaboration with MMFHA Joshi Hospital, Pune.
Caregivers care for patients with chronic or recurring disorders. Caregivers are from different age groups – Some young, some middle aged and some elderly. Sometimes a young person is their own caregiver.
We are suddenly thrown into the role of a caregiver. As caregivers we need guidance and assistance but often don’t know where to get it.
NICHE Advocacy Foundation brings this unique platform for skills and support for care givers of all ages. The aim of the support group is to empower the caregivers with the necessary skills (toolkit) to care for themselves as well as the patient.
